Steps to getting started

The process to begin treatment from when we receive the required documents takes approximately 20 days.

01

Intake forms

We will send you the intake forms needed to get started. Required documentation includes: insurance card, psychological assessment with a diagnosis of ASD, and a medical necessity letter.

02

Prior Authorization for assessment

We complete the required paper work and submit it to your insurance provider to secure authorization for the initial assessment.

03

Assessment

We will conduct a comprehensive initial assessment where your child feels most comfortable (at home or daycare). Dr. Best will look at your child’s strengths, communication skills, and behaviors to design a customized treatment plan for insurance approval

04

Treatment

Once we receive prior authorization from insurance, we can begin treatment.
